Overturned Tanker Truck Causes HazMat Situation In Hagerstown (Developing)

A tanker truck carrying hazardous materials in Washington County reportedly overturned in Hagerstown on Wednesday, June 15.

The incident was reported outside 20927 Leitersburg Pike in Hagerstown.

The truck overturned just before 2 p.m. on Leitersburg Pike, causing vapor cloud on the roadway, developing and unconfirmed reports say.

The Water Supply Task Force was called in to mitigate and control the vapor cloud in its place, and crews are working to attempt to stop the leak, the report states.
